i always hear about brad pitt and angelina jolie, sean penn, and all the rest of the big name stars in hollywood here in the united states, does europe have their own stars that would be equivalent to a brad pitt?? do they have box office movies that gross as much as american movies?? also the music, are they forced to listen to our music or do they have bands of their own?? do they like rap? lolIs europe forced to watch american movies?They often share our movies - ie, our movies are often big over there as they are here, but they have a lot of their own too (certainly not bigger than ours, some maybe almost as big in England, France, etc). I think music is a bit different because it's rarely translated if it's another language, and most prefer singing in their own, so there are probably many musical equivalents in terms of fame and such in non-English-speaking European countries, but I think the English native countries share a lot. The first one was groundbreaking, but each subsequent movie was a bigger disappointment than the last.
I think they are very immature and silly, and since you mentioned it, a little offensive.
I've seen the first 3. They are teen movies...you can't expect Oscar quality content. The new one(s) I haven't seen. I'm too old for them.



I don't have a strong opinion either way. It's not the type of movie you take seriously. The only memorable thing that I came away with is not being able to look at an apple pie quite the same way again. I'm a fan of Alyson Hannigan so I watched them. I'm not ashamed to admit it! ;)

Offensive and unintelligent definitely. I can cope with offensive if it is intelligent, but not otherwise, it is torture to my most excellent intellect.
They were the lowest of lowbrow humour until they remade The Dukes of Hazzard.
I don't like them but then again, I'm not the target audience for these types of movies. I'm too old and this sort of humor doesn't appeal to me.

It's just the way it is, breasts are acceptable but an erection is not. It's a tradition that comes from Art in the past, and what is socially acceptable. Butts of both sexes are OK.
