What happens at the Walt Disney World casting center?

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever applied for a job at the Disney casting center? Which types of jobs are available at the casting center (I know the custodial staff, the people who help you on the rides, food vendors, but what other positions)? What's the procedure and what types of questions do they ask? What happens at the Walt Disney World casting center?
The Casting Center is the Human Resource office for Walt Disney World. Every job goes through this office. Not just the "cast" which is the people who work face to face with guests in the parks but also all the back end workers, every resort worker, the office workers, even the bus drivers and landscapers to the guys who sweep the streets after the parks close. There are thousands of positions that must be filled and all of them are done through interviews in that building.

The types of questions they ask are different for each job. Walk in the door and apply for the jobs they have openings for. What happens at the Walt Disney World casting center?
This used to be the case - where someone off the street could "just walk in" - no longer is this Disney's practice.... you have to fill out your application online --- and IF you meet the requirements a telephone interview is set up by one of Casting personnel people.

Actually every position open at Disney is available at the casting center. Custodial, Hotel Positions, Characters, Ride operators, food and beverage, Character Spotting, Retail, every job is available for you to apply for.

you go to the front desk and ask for an application, there they ask you for which job you are applying they ask your social i believe and all that to make sure that you are legiable for a job there. You then get an application to fill out. While you fill that out. You will be interviewed right then and there so make sure you are professional. They look at you and if you don't look the part that brings down your chances of getting hired for disney.
