Disney would give a record deal to someone if they discovered them as a talent, and that could potentially happen anywhere. If you were an employee of Disney, you could have more doors open for you than the average person. If you worked your way up as a cast member to the performing level, you would then have a gateway to show off any talents that you have.
Disney wouldn't pass up on someone they believed could be successful in the recording industry. Best of luck =-)
