Im going to Disney World for spring break! We have a few adults, three teens (2 x 16, 14) and one girl (6).
I was wondering what is a good order to see the parks? We have 7 day tickets!
Also suggested rides?
Favourites?
Any must-do things?
Thanks! What order should I see the parks at disney world?
Part of your answer has to do with what day are you arriving. There are certain days that certain parks are better to be at to minimize the crowds.
In general I would suggest spending your 7 days with:
2 days at the Magic Kingdom
2 days at Epcot
2 days at Hollywood Studios
1 day at the Animal Kingdom
The personal make-up of your group can change that recommendation, though depending on what you like (Thrill Rides, Live Entertainment, Animals, Traditional Disney Characters, etc.)
Here are the best choices for each day of the week:
Sunday: Animal Kingdom
Monday: Hollywood Studios
Tuesday:Magic Kingdom
Wednesday: Epcot
Thursday: Animal Kingdom
Friday: Magic Kingdom
Saturday: Epcot
This data comes from www.TouringPlans.com who are the authors of the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World", which is a well respected guide and their choices are based upon collecting a vast amount of data on park crowd levels.
The season that you go will impact crowds also. The best way to maximize your time is to visit your park choice at opening in order to make sure that you can see the most popular attractions before the crowds arrive. Then the rest of the day can be at a more leisurely pace.
Must see attractions for thrill seekers include:
Hollywood Studios: Tower of Terror, Aerosmith Rock 'n Roller Coaster
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids
Epcot: Test Track, Soarin'
Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad
Best Live Shows:
Hollywood Studios: Lights, Motors, Action!, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid
Animal Kingdom: Finding Nemo the Musical, Kilomanjaro Safari, Lion King
Epcot has over 18 live entertainment acts in addition to the normal posted rides and attractions: http://www.onlywdworld.com/2008/09/visit鈥?/a>
Magic Kingdom has the best parades and the Wishes Fireworks show.

Try to avoid weekends if possible. Plan Disney and Epcot together (one or two days) becasue you can ride the monorail back and forth without leaving the park(s). Do Animal kingdom early in the day or later in the evening if you have the time to devote part of two days to it becasue animals are more active at these times.
MGM will probably provide the least amount of excitment for the teens and the 6 year old but worth doing. Try Animal kingdom in the AM, then finish up at MGM. The next day, do the remainder of MGM and finish up at Animal Kingdom.
Dont overlook TomSaweys Island at the Magic Kingdom, kids and adults will love it. also, the "World" part of Epcot is long and tiring and not reccomended for kids. Try to separate from the kids while the adults take in the cultures. Hope this helps. Can answer more specific question of you email them to me. Have Fun.
you should go to all the parks becausee theres something to do for every one in every park . You should go on disneyworld.com to look at all the must get on ridesWhat order should I see the parks at disney world?
It's always best to start at Magic Kingdom, it just makes the beginning of the trip feel official. Any other order of the parks doesn't matter. Do what you want.
Magic Kingdom
MGM
Epcot
Animal Kingdom
Have a great time :D
What ever order, all the parks are great. People always say try to get there early. My suggestion is you have a nice morning at the hotel and enjoy the pool, then go in the afternoon and stay until the park closes. You'll find a lot of people go home around 6/7pm. It's also really pretty when it's dark, because of all the lights and it's a totally different atmosphere. Don't forget your rain capes you will need them.
Get a Park Hopper ticket so that you can hop around all the parks in the same day. Here are some of my favorites...
MAGIC KINGDOM: Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight
They also have parades during the day. During the parades is also the best time for the rides. Lines are short becuase everyone is watching the parade.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: Rock n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror
EPCOT: Illumination: Reflections of Earth fireworks (every night at 9pm), Test Track, Mission Space, Imagination
ANIMAL KINGDOM: Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur
I always go to the Magic Kingdom first. It just puts you in the Disney mood. Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks, so go there in the morning. For most parks, get the fast pass for the rides with longer waits, then you can wait in line for other times until the return time on the ticket.
Buy park hoppers! My favorite park is Animal Kingdom! Put the parks on a separate pieces of paper, and have someone (the young girl probably because the magic of Disney would be extra special to her) pull a piece of paper out of the hat and viola! Everything is a must-do-thing at Disney World! But remember, you may not be able to do every single thing. With park hoppers you can switch from park to park everyday, so if you want to do something at another park, just take the buses Disney provides, and voila! Your at another park.
Well if you like the Magic Kingdom I suggest doing that last to get the worst ones over with...in my preference the order we went in the summertime was
Epcot
Animal Kingdom
Typhoon Lagoon
Hollywood Studios
Magic Kingdom
and somewhere in between have a break.
If you have teens who like to go on all those thrill rides that are very popular like Rock N Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios), i suggest getting fast passes because we had to wait over an hour to go on. Other rides could be Splash Mountain,Space Mountain,Expedition Everest, that Nemo Show (forgot the name),Dinosaur,Toy Story Mania,Soarin, and Test Track. For the 6 yr old pick some of those rides that little kids love like Peter Pan,Mickey's Philhar Magic, the carousel...good luck!
