Im going to Hong Kong Disney - After that i plan to go to China - Any suggestions for kids ?

Since im going all the way to hk, i thought why not also do China. I have 2 daughters aged 7 and 11.



Now since they have already done HK disney, i thought maybe id take them to some beautiful quaint part of China where they can see and learn about China and at the same time have fun.



Secondly, my wife and i love natural beauty and would like to go to some beautiful part of China. Perhaps with the kids we can do a national park.Im going to Hong Kong Disney - After that i plan to go to China - Any suggestions for kids ?
If you're going to China, you HAVE to visit:

stunt performances (I would not advise opera!)

Forbidden city

Beihai Park

Yangtze river

MUSEUMS





Just be sure to do your research (everything is VERY different!) and make sure your food is sanitary (my mom's friend is in the hospital because she got some stomach bug)

If you like natural beauty, visit Yunnan. It's one of the most gorgeous places in China. In addition, many ethnic minorities live there, so the kids get to see their interesting culture (costume, music,food, etc).

I've never been there, but my friend traveled to Yunnan 2 years ago and loooved it!

Fly to Guilin from Hong Kong, Guilin is famous for its beautiful hills and water sceneries which are like Chinese paintings. You could join a tour package which is cheap in Hong Kong. Yunnan is also good but the place is now suffering from a serious drought.
