How does Walt Disney(the man and his life) apply to us today or in the future?

I need to find out what we as a society have gained, or will continue gaining from Walt Disney? This is for a paper, but I'm not going to just cut and paste and claim as my own. What I want is suggestions or ideas and how to phrase them a little to get me going. Thank you.How does Walt Disney(the man and his life) apply to us today or in the future?
He was many times on the verge of bankruptcy, yet his perseverance, enthusiasm and hard work ethic helped him. He refused to accept defeat and was a perfectionist.

His vision is an inspiration to me to never give up my dreams, no matter how unlikely they seem. (And I think it's cool I was born on the same day of the year he was)How does Walt Disney(the man and his life) apply to us today or in the future?
I read that his employees loved him.

After hours, he'd go into the writers' room and pilfer the garbage cans for things the guys discarded. He'd uncrumple some paper, some drawing, put it on a desk with a note, "how about this one?"

Walt was a terrific man who dedicated his efforts to children, giving them a world of wonder from which to receive education, entertainment and inspiration.

"Back in the day", my dad (born in 1911) had an offer to work for Mr. Disney, but, having a wife and baby on the way, took the job with a jackhammer, as it paid a few cents more. In the end, dad ended up doing photography for NASA.

Wonderful Walt:

He inspired us with innocence I suppose. I dunno. Good movies though. ^_^
