Is europe forced to watch american movies?

i always hear about brad pitt and angelina jolie, sean penn, and all the rest of the big name stars in hollywood here in the united states, does europe have their own stars that would be equivalent to a brad pitt?? do they have box office movies that gross as much as american movies?? also the music, are they forced to listen to our music or do they have bands of their own?? do they like rap? lolIs europe forced to watch american movies?They often share our movies - ie, our movies are often big over there as they are here, but they have a lot of their own too (certainly not bigger than ours, some maybe almost as big in England, France, etc). I think music is a bit different because it's rarely translated if it's another language, and most prefer singing in their own, so there are probably many musical equivalents in terms of fame and such in non-English-speaking European countries, but I think the English native countries share a lot. you just are used to the united states...do some research...learn how the rest of the world lives.
