Brian's Song is definately the best of all time. It's officially the only time a man is allowed to cry in public, aside from being hit in the nuts.



Amen to the above critique on Friday Night Lights. Never mind the book, the supposed "based on a true story" is crap. From the movie, you'll never guess that Booby Miles was a FULLBACK in real life, while the slow white-boy who keeps fumbling was the TAILBACK.Which are the best movies about american football and the NFL?Too bad none of the movies (except Brians song) were NFL movies. I dont think there are that many NFL movies. The longest yard is about an NFL football player but it never actually shows him playing in the NFL. Brians song is the only movie that comes to my mind but its a pretty old movie. They should probably make some new ones.
Not about the NFL, but Rudy is one of the greats.

Invincible is a really good movie too
North Dallas Forty with Nicke Nolte is very good. So is Semi Tough with Burt Reynolds and Kris Kristofferson.
