I personally wouldn't do it with kids that age. I have a 3yr old. They do have a lock on the veranda doors, but I would not sleep ok, knowing that my kid can wake up without me hearing and try %26amp; open it. Get a deluxe oceanview cabin(I do) instead. The ones on Deck 2 have the large porthole that almost goes from floor to ceiling. It still gives a great view. If you want fresh air, you can always go on deck.
I can't believe you're even asking this if you obviously see a potential danger that should be an easy question for you to answer for yourself. Don't get a balcony, simple. On a Disney cruise, is a room with a balcony dangerous for little kids?
Obviously, there's a safety risk. But, would you let your kids go onto the balcony alone at home? I hope not. Make sure you supervise them when they go out. Otherwise, keep it locked.
Disney cruises are aimed at the family therefore they do try to make their ships as safe as possible, however as your children are young and you have doubts I would go for an inside cabin (it's cheaper too!!)On a Disney cruise, is a room with a balcony dangerous for little kids?
Well I wouldnt do it, unless they have safety latches that only you the adult can be able to configure, other than that i wouldnt get a balcony
