My family is going on vacation to Disney World in Florida again in August now that my youngest sister is old enough to remember this trip. (She was barely 3 last time, she's 9 now.) My other sisters are 13, 16, and I'm 17. What are some good places to go in Disney world for all of our age groups so we won't have a miserable time?|||You mean good rides? Well, hit all four theme parks. Don't spend a whole day at Animal Kingdom or Epcot--do those both in one day. Okay, here goes.
MAGIC KINGDOM:
1. If your sister's nine, she probably won't be so into the characters and stuff. Hit the rides. Splash Mountain is a good one for all ages. You go up, spend a few minutes looking at characters of Brer Fox, Brer Bear, etc. and then you drop 52 1/2 feet down the mountain into the "brier patch" and you get really soaked. Rated #1 Disney World ride by kids.
2. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad--Most people think this one's wimpy, but I find it very fun. It's a regular wooden roller coaster that's not as intense for some people who may be scared.
3. Space Mountain--This ride isn't as scary as people say. It's in the dark, though, so if anyone's afraid of the dark, I'd say don't go. All you do is go up a hill, then go down several smaller hills. It's quite tame, really, but I find it fun, and one of the best rides in Magic Kingdom.
4. There are other rides like Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh Bear, and It's a Small World, that may be fun but are more for kids in the 2-6 year old range and your family may be too old.
ANIMAL KINGDOM:
1. Expedition Everest--I was too scared to ride this but I really regret it. Basically you go up into this mountain and ride around, and then go backwards. The backwards part might be scary for some, plus there's a pretty big drop, but it still looks fun and people say it's a must-see.
2. Dinosaur--This is one of those rides where the stuff around you is supposed to be scary. There are pretty loud noises here, and lots of dinosaurs. You're in a time machine and then you're supposed to find this dinosaur but things go wrong and the dinos start like attacking you. It can startle you but I think that's half the fun!
3. Kali River Rapids--Your typical river raft ride. One car can sit up to like 10 people or something. You put all your stuff in this bowl in the center so it won't get wet. It's not very intense, but I guarantee you, you will get soaked!
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:
1. Rock n Roller Coaster--You are not experiencing Disney if you don't ride this. Drag everybody on, even if they're scared. I am the ultimate roller coaster chicken and I loved this ride. You have to ride. #1 in the park, for me, by about a thousand miles! Yes it loops, yes you go 57 mph but that lasts about three seconds and then you are flying through a city while enjoying Aerosmith music. Force yourself to ride!
2. Tower of Terror--I didn't ride this because I don't like big drops. It can still be fun, though. I've heard it's really good, but really scary. It drops you 130 feet and you get a view of the park from that height.
3. Star Tours--Not a must see, by any means, but still fun. Not intense and good for the whole family.
EPCOT:
1. Mission: Space--They have two versions of this ride. I didn't ride either one but I plan to. The first ride is just you blast off into space and your seat jerks a little bit. This is called the Green Team. The second one, called Orange Team, has some VERY intense spinning and I am avoiding that at all costs. If anyone in your party is even the slightest bit prone to motion sickness, I recommend Green Team.
2. Soarin'--This is the ride with the longest lines. You get lifted in a seat and you're flying over California. Everybody loves it because it's amazingly fun, but not intense. Like it doesn't loop or drop or twist or spin or jerk or turn or anything like that. It has some height, but you'll be too busy enjoying the ride to notice.
3. Test Track--It's the fastest ride in Disney but I recommend it anyway. There are some sharp turns here but it's really fun. I rode this a few times and I'm a chicken. You get in a car and you go through all these tests and the final test is a test where you go really fast. 65 mph is the exact speed. You should go on this one if you want to try an "intense" ride but don't want to lose your lunch or go upside down or anything like that.
4. I wouldn't waste your time at the International stuff, it's not all it's cracked up to be. You'll see when you get there.
Hope I helped, good luck, and have fun!|||Ok so here it is
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad--its a starters roller coaster.

Hope I helped, good luck, and have fun!|||There are four parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, golf, etc. You will find stuff to do, don't worry!
In Magic Kingdom, my favorites are Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mickey's Philharmagic, and Wishes (fireworks). Space Mountain is down through November, so you won't be able to ride it.
In Epcot, I like Soarin (run back here first thing!), Spaceship Earth, Mission:Space, Test Track, and walking around and exploring the World Showcase. Pick up a schedule and catch a couple of the live performers - there are some great ones.
In Hollywood Studios, Rock n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror are the best. Also, the Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Muppet Vision 3D, and Toy Story Mania are fun. And there are a couple of good shows here, too.
And finally at Animal Kingdom, I like Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Dinosaur is worth doing once, and It's Tough to be a Bug and Finding Nemo are good shows.
I have gone to Disney several times with groups as large as LITERALLY 7 years to 70 years, and we all have a blast.
