So this Thursday is going to be the first time I ever go to Disney, I'm going with my best friend because her family invited me. My best friends' mom and older sister already paid for the hotel, etc. Her sister said not to bring anything because they're paying everything for me(hotel, food, etc), but I don't know. I still want to bring some money. How much should I bring? I am going to be there for 3 days and 2 nights. How much money should I bring to Disney?
Everything, and I do mean everything, at Disney is expensive. I would bring about $150-$200. That's probably an overestimate, but it's always better to have too much than not enough. I would be prepared to buy drinks, snacks, etc. beyond meals. Even though your friend's family said they would pay for everything, I think it would be polite to pay for small stuff like drinks and snacks yourself. How much money should I bring to Disney?
What they said plus enough for little gifts to bring home. Nothing there is less than $5 so you can go through $100 in nothing flat. Get one of those money pouches you can wear under your clothes and keep most of your money in it and people won't see what you are carrying when you pay for something. You can always slip into a bathroom and take out more if you need it. Whatever kind of purse you take only have the minimum of stuff in it and don't take anything with you to the park that you cannot afford to lose. Make sure your purse zips or closes securely so your wallet cannot be snatched when you are distracted. Throw in a couple of folded up carry bags, they just come in handy. How much money should I bring to Disney?
