I am taking my two girls to Disney World for their 5th birthday in November. I have the lodging taken care of, but I want to buy a 4 or 5 day park hopper pass. I do not have a AAA membership and I am not sure if buying one is worth it if the savings are not very much. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!Where is the best place to buy Disney World tickets?
I agree the best place to buy disney tickets is from Disney. There is a little know backdoor that disney has that will let you purchase tickets at a discount and send them to you via fedex. It has some deep discounts. You can get better than AAA membership. I have been using it for years now.
Buy your tickets ONLY from the official Disney World website or just wait unitl you get there and buy them at the gates.
Do not trust anyone selling you deep discounts for WDW tickets.Where is the best place to buy Disney World tickets?
I'm an AAA member. AAA membership will run +$60 for the year. The AAA discount for each Disney 4 day hopper ticket is less than $10. Not worth AAA membership just for Disney tickets.
Buy them from Disney themselves, it's easier and you know it's legit (keep in mind very discounted prices can be scams). Buying the AAA membership isn't worth it, because it'll end up costing you more money. Also, i'd buy them ahead. You can buy them at the parks, however there are long lines and you don't want to waste any time.
Have fun.Where is the best place to buy Disney World tickets?
AAA no longers has a WDW discount. and it was very slight anyways.
buy ONLY from the disney web site, or at a disney store. I Highly suggest staying at a Disney resort, even a value resort is MUCH better than staying at any off site hotel.
There are a couple of AUTHORIZED discount dealers where you can save a *few* dollars. I would not buy from anybody but an authorized dealer, and there are not many.
Obviously you can always buy from Disney directly, either online or through the Disney store, or of course at the gate.
A couple of authorized online discount dealers are:

I think folks get sticker shock looking at Disney's ticket prices, so it makes sense you want to save money on them. But take the other advice here---it's not the place to economize. You're far better off trying to save on food and other expenses.
