Do people in Europe watch American movies?

Is hollywood a big deal in Europe like it in the states or is there another big entertainment scene over there?Do people in Europe watch American movies?Yes, all the blockbuster movies that are shown in the US are shown in Europe (generally but there are some exceptions)

The only difference is that usually the release date for the movies is earlier in the US than Europe. Then movies will be dubbed (in the local language) or subtitled

e.g. in Germany movies are dubbed by German actors' voices.

Here in the Netherlands then the original actor's voices are retained and it is subtitled (below) in Dutch. Kids movies are the exception where often they are also dubbed and many times there is a choice given to watch the original version (with subtitles) or the dubbed version

Most European countries do have their own domestic film industries e.g. here in the Netherlands there are Dutch movies, but mostly made for the domestic (or countries that speak the same language)

Sometimes a French, English movie will make it "big" from time to time and you can also see at award ceremony that 'foreign' films are recognised, but the film industries in Europe are not on the same scale as in the US.Do people in Europe watch American movies?
Yup, American movies and Hollywood is THE dominant movie industry of the world... they're everywhere here in Europe, At my local cinemas we only get about 1 movie a month which isn't American!Do people in Europe watch American movies? The American motion picture industry (Hollywood) produces more films than all of the other places on earth combined.Do people in Europe watch American movies?
Ya they have some American moves there, mostly in move theaters though....ohh and there usually in whatever there official language is.Do people in Europe watch American movies?I think so. When I was in Germany everyone was obsessed with "Don't mess with the Zohan." I still make fun of my German friend for it.
