My husband and I decided last night that we are going to take my daughters (7 years old and 4 years old) that we are going to disney this summer. We are just wondering if any one has any good ideas on how to tell them we are going to disney?
It is our first trip to disney with our children is there anything special we should do with them?
Thank you in advance! How would you surprise a 7 and a 4 year old with a trip to disney?
Well if they want to go then they will be excited, no matter how you tell them.
If I were you, I'd just wait for a time when they're vulnerable, like at dinner.
"Guess what? Were going to Disneyworld (or Disneyland)!!!!!!!
Thats what I'd do.
If your going to DisneyWORLD:
Definitely go to all the parks at least once, they are all cool.
Make sure to ride Expedition Everest, I rode it like 10 times in a row with my sister, it was great.
At Epcot, the space ride (I forgot what it's called) is awesome. Ride it.
There's also a ride called Test Track, I don't know if they still have it, but if they do, ride it. I rode it while it was raining and it was great.
If your going to DisneyLAND:
Ride as many rides as you can, but definitely don't leave out these:
Big Thunder
Space Mountain
Pirates of the Carribean
Haunted Mansion
Indiana Jones Ride
Watch the fireworks
Buzz Lightyear Ride
Star Wars ride
Go to the Innoventions Building, its really awesome inside there.
Autopia: DEFINITELY go to Autopia! If your kids don't like it they either have some other really solid interests or they are insane.
Peter Pan
Go to ToonTown, your kids will probably love it.
And also ride the train (NOT the monorail, the train. It goes back in time.
That's all I can think of right now.
So basically ride as much rides as you can.
If you go to California Adventure as well, then ride as much as possible there as well.
Good luck Chelsea!
When I was younger my parents surprised me with a trip to Disney by a really great scavenger hunt. There were fun clues, steps, and things to find. In the end, I was lead to a Donald Duck figurine that said 'Take me home please!'.
:)How would you surprise a 7 and a 4 year old with a trip to disney?
wait until 2 days before you guys go. "order" pizza and also ask for an empty box.
write a note that says "A trip to Disney" and put it in the empty one
tell them to open it
SURPRISE
hope you have fun
Well I personally would find a way to wait till the day we were leaving to tell them. That morning when they got up I'd spell it out in bacon or something else used at breakfast time....its a little lame but I think the kids would really like it.How would you surprise a 7 and a 4 year old with a trip to disney?
Oh, that will be fun!
You could give them little Mickey Mouse toys for Easter or some other holiday (or just at random) and lead into it they you are going to disney! Good luck and Have fun!!!
