My husband I are trying to plan a trip to Disney World in October. We were thinking of going on a Thursday and leaving on the following Sunday. Right now Disney only has deals that are good through October 2. Does anyone know what the next deals will be and when they will be released. When will Disney announce their new deals for the fall?
Last year the late fall deals came out at the end of July. Here is a history of Disney special offers:

Disney almost always has a fall deal out for free dining, but I haven't known them to have another public deal out annually until the Spring dates, which are usually discount rooms. It's possible that they will have a public deal past October 2nd, but typically that would be out by now. Usually deals are released 4-6 months in advance. The Free Dining August/September deal was released the last week of April, and that was late for it.
Right now there are non-public deals going on in the form of pin codes. I received one last week for 40% off rooms from October - December, with some dates blacked out. The pin codes are randomly sent out via email or mail postcard. You have to be the person on the invitation to book the trip. It's not known how they choose who gets them, but my best advice to you is to sign up for all things Disney. I believe this is how I get them so often. Sign up for the Disney.com newsletter, sign up for the Disney Movie Rewards, Disney Movie Club, Disney Visa....anything you can. This is especially worth it if you visit frequently.
Try signing up for these things, and keep an eye on your email. The discounts usually come from "Disney Destinations". I know the 40% off rooms pin code was just released, so you have a good shot of getting it. It's also possible that since pin codes have been sent out, that it will eventually become a public deal. This happens sometimes. In that case, I would expect to hear very soon - sometime in July for sure. That would put it at the 4 month mark, and you'd definitely hear by then.
