Why can't American football succeed outside America when American movies, TV shows and music do?

Football is a much more expensive sport to play. You need pads, helmets, footballs and tons of other stuff to play it even recreationally. For millions of children throughout the world, soccer is so much more affordable. In several developed countries, football is actually pretty popular, but not on the level of soccer. But it is interesting to me why soccer is so popular everywhere else but here. I did oversimplify it, but its my opinion.Why can't American football succeed outside America when American movies, TV shows and music do?To the guy who sed that they cant afford soccer, u obviously dont realize that pro soccer players make tons more money than football players, and soccer outside the u.s just hasa bigger fan base in general, which means a bigger income, and thats pretty ignorant assuming all others are poor or have less money than tthe u.s. but my answer is that they most likely havent given it a chance yet.Why can't American football succeed outside America when American movies, TV shows and music do?American football is played in Canada.
