Why do most part of American movies show Russians as idiots?When I was a kid, I thought "Russian" was a bad word because there was this karate movie "No Retreat, No Surrender" where the main guy fought a Russian and they just referred to him as "the Russian" and he was a pretty bad dude, so I called a bunch of people Russians all the time.

The old stereotypes continue in the film industry. Why do people still tell Pollock jokes? It's the same reason. Hollywood is free to insult Russians because they always have. Picking a new group of idiots would get them in trouble with that group.

well cant really answer that because, ive only seen war movies involing russians... although i dont think they made them look like idiots in K-19 widowmaker ...
